Ticker-Tape Parade Held in NYC Where USWNT Fans Were Audio and Video Taped Chanting: USA — Equal Pay!

New York City (NYC) Financial Information Service Agency (FISA) have denied being in possession of records dealing with the ticker-tape parade held in New York City to honor the United States Women National Soccer Team (USWNT) for having won the 2019 World Cup held in France. The Association for the Advancement of Civil Liberties (AACL) has acknowledged the existence of institutionalized chauvinism, discrimination, misogyny, racism, and sexism. The AACL has expressed several concerns about reprisals and retaliation for condemning discrepancy of pay on the basis of gender, race, national origin, religious affiliation, sexual orientation and other attributes people may associate themselves with. Requests submitted to the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) seeking clarification for the reasons they have not filed on behalf of the USWNT a complaint of employment discrimination with the judicial branch of the U.S Government pursuant to Title VII of the 1964 and 1991 Civil Rights Act have met a dead-end (with no satisfyingly adequate explanation provided). Details remain unclear if employees and legal representatives of the NYC Government have encouraged the USWNT to file a complaint of employment discrimination in the New York judicial branch of government. Details remain also unclear if the NYC government will file an Amicus Curiae brief in support of the USWNT complaint of employment discrimination. The AACL would like to take this opportunity to convey concerns about what happened on January 06th 2021 in the District of Columbia Dirksen Senate Office Building. The AACL would also like to take this opportunity to convey concerns about efforts ongoing to revise the events that occurred on January 06th 2021 in a manner that is far from fair, impartial, neutral, objective and unbiased. The AACL would like to attest that rioters in the District of Columbia Dirksen Senate Office Building were not present to chant: “USA — Equal Pay!” The AACL will continue to monitor the USWNT legal inquiry for Equal Pay. The AACL wishes the USWNT (as a soccer fan) good fortune.
